Welcome to the all new website! As you can see, it’s a pretty radical departure from the old website, but in my opinion it’s much cooler now.

There are some major changes not only in the website, but also in my web presence in general. The most important change: I’ve combined my personal site and the ART IN MOTION site into, making it easier to keep you all updated on the latest news and activities. I’ve also added links to all of my social media sites like Facebook, YouTube, Myspace and others. I’ve also removed the Guestbook, and now you can leave comments directly on the NEWS page, corresponding to each update. I’ve also made the GALLERY a lot bigger, adding many never before seen photos and videos.

It has been said that the journey is more important than the destination. For me is dance more than just my job; it’s my continuous journey into expression. It is a lifestyle, a passion, an outlet for creativity. forged through years of study, hard work, and sweat. Expression through dance has allowed me to see beauty, defy convention, follow my instincts, captivate attention, and grow as an artist. This website is a look inside my world, and is fiiled with lots of sights, sounds, and information.

Tanzprojekt Mallorca

Applications are still being accepted for the spring event Tanzprojekt Mallorca. There will be many workshops and courses offered by an international team of instructors (including yours truly!). What better place to learn about dance and fitness than the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca?

Marilena at Tanzakademie Minkov

For the past three years I’ve been an instructor at the Minkov Dance Academy, where I teach Jazz Dance and Choreography. Minkov offers a wide variety of courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced study, as well as training for those interested in a career in dance education.

I teach at Tanzsport Zentrum in Stuttgart-Feuerbach on Mondays from 19:00 to 21:00 and on Wednesdays from 18:30 – 20:00. I offer classes in Jazz and Modern for beginners, as well as Modern Jazz for advanced students.
